Bag filter is a pressure filtration device mainly composed of filter cartridge, filter cartridge cover, quick opening mechanism, stainless steel filter bag reinforcement mesh and other main components. In bag filters, the filter bag is supported by a metal mesh basket. The liquid flows in from the inlet, passes through a filter bag, and then flows out from the outlet. Impurities are trapped in the filter bag and can be reused after replacement. The replacement of filter bags on this machine is very convenient, and the filter has almost no material consumption.
However, during the process of using filters, it is inevitable to encounter some problems. We have selected several prominent issues, and now let's explain and analyze them.
The first question is how to know the state of impurities in the filtered material?
We want to know the size of impurities, and we should do this by purchasing filter bags with different sizes of filter holes, testing them, and seeing which filter bags have good filtration quality, and seeing how the actual filtration effect is. Alternatively, you can consult the filter manufacturer. The manufacturer has rich experience and a professional technical team. You can invite filter manufacturers to conduct on-site inspections, and they will give you a satisfactory response.
The second issue is that the filtrate filtered out by the bag filter is turbid. What is the current situation?
There are roughly two reasons for the turbidity of the filtrate after bag filter filtration. Firstly, there is damage to the filter cloth. The filter cloth is easily damaged when encountering hard impurities. When the filter cloth is damaged, it can lead to a decrease in the filtering effect of the bag filter, causing the filtrate to become turbid. The second reason is that the number of filter holes in the filter cloth is too small. The smaller the filter holes, the larger the filter holes, the lower the filtration efficiency, and the filtrate will become turbid. Generally speaking, as long as the correct filter bag is selected and the correct pressure is applied, the filtered liquid will not become turbid.
The third question, how often do filter bags change?
The inlet and outlet pipes of the bag filter are equipped with pressure gauges. Replace the filter bag according to the value displayed on the pressure gauge. The pressure difference that a general filter bag can withstand is about 0.5~1kg/cm2. When the pressure difference reaches this range, the filter bag should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid rupture of the filter bag, affecting the filtering effect, and avoiding greater losses.
The above are several issues that are prone to occur during the use of bag filters. I hope to help you. If you want to learn more about bag filters, you can call us at any time. We have professional technical personnel. Answer your doubts.
