Activated carbon filter, also known as multi medium filter, is an efficient filtration equipment that uses activated carbon as the filtering medium to filter water with high turbidity through a certain thickness of granular or non granular activated carbon under a certain pressure, effectively intercepting and removing impurities in the water, ultimately achieving the effect of reducing water turbidity and purifying water quality.

Made from treated coconut shell charcoal, XinKay activated carbon exhibits an immense internal pore structure ideal for adsorbing trace organic compounds, pyrogens and metals from deionized water. Operating in deep-bed mode, carbon filters remove impurities that could compromise chip fabrication or equipment functionality.

As water flows through exposed carbon, contaminants are attracted to and trapped within the internal carbon micropores through weak van der Waals force interactions based on their relative sizes. Larger particles are filtrated on the external carbon surface while smaller dissolved particulates become concentrated deep within the pore structure.
